Swinton Smith Field at Reidsville Municipal Airport has a 5,000 ft. runway, a paved taxiway and updated aviation lighting. Situated on 297.83 acres, this Level I airport is owned by the Reidsville Airport Authority and operated by the City of Reidsville.

The runway was extended and repaved in 2009 as part of a  $1,820,884  project. Project partners included the City, Airport Authority, Federal Aviation Administration, Georgia Department of Transportation’s Aviation Division, and the engineering firm of Wilbur Smith Associates. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has Aircraft stationed at the airport.

We to plan to add a new hangar area for the increased amount of fixed-wing aircraft looking for a home.

  • Open 24 hours a day
  • Aviation fuel-100LL & Jet-A
  • Aircraft parking (ramp or tiedown)
  • Hangar leasing/sales
  • Passenger terminal and lounge (New one is under construction.)
  • Courtesy car (free for pilots to use in the local area)
  • Internet access - WIFI
  • Phones inside FBO for calls in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Flight Planning Computer
  • Restrooms

Construction is complete. It is down to final touches and a few other details. A few operational items, furniture and other equipment to be installed. Hopefully we will be able to start occupying the new terminal in late April to May 2025. Make sure to press CRTL+SHIFT+R to make sure you have the most recenst updated page view.
